Global health services company Cigna Corporation said Jerome Droesch will take over as CEO of domestic health and wellness services for all Cigna International Markets operations outside the United States.
Droesch’s expanded role puts him at the helm to drive Cigna’s portfolio of global markets, including strategic markets such as the UAE, Singapore, Hong Kong, Spain and Australia.
Under his new remit, Droesch will focus on leading the company’s domestic health and wellness services business. Jerome was earlier CEO of Cigna Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. In addition to expanding his remit, Droesch leads Cigna’s international market strategy, innovation, and data and analytics functions.
Strategic Plan
The move reinforces Cigna’s strategic plan to grow its business as a major provider of health and wellness insurance services to individuals, groups and government entities in key markets.
Droesch continues to serve as a board member for Cigna’s operations in India, Turkey and Australia, as well as chairman of the Cigna Insurance Management Services Committee at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Under Droesch’s leadership, Cigna’s Middle East operations have consolidated its position as an innovative industry leader, expanding its footprint in the region, launching new products and services to cater to a wider range of market segments and supporting its partners, while Consistent double-digit growth.
