Dubai-Abu Dhabi bus service resumes-News

[ad_1]

The bus service will depart from Ibn Battuta Bus Station in Dubai to the Central Bus Station in Abu Dhabi.

The Road and Traffic Authority (RTA) announced that the E101 bus shuttle between Dubai and Abu Dhabi has resumed.

Intercity bus services will depart from Dubai’s Ibn Battuta bus station to the central bus station in Abu Dhabi.

Adel Shakri, Director of Planning and Business Development, RTA Public Transport Agency, said: “This route is essential for the integration of public transport modes and the smooth flow of passengers between the two emirates.”

The RTA has reminded riders to observe all Covid safety measures, including wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.

Passengers travelling to Abu Dhabi must comply with the following regulations:

>> Individuals vaccinated must display a “green” status and an “E” sign or asterisk on their AlHosn app (activated after a negative PCR test result, valid for several days).

>> Individuals who have not been vaccinated will be allowed to enter Abu Dhabi within 48 hours of receiving a negative Covid-19 test result.

>> Travelers are not allowed to use the DPI test results to enter the Emirate twice in a row.

Abu Dhabi recently relaxed the entry regulations for citizens, residents and tourists vaccinated in the UAE. After entering the capital, tourists who have been vaccinated do not need further testing.

Unvaccinated visitors who have a negative PCR result must undergo additional tests on the 4th and 8th day after entry. Those who get the DPI test result must perform the PCR test on the 3rd and 7th day.

In addition, many public places are limited to vaccination. These include shopping malls, restaurants, cafes and all other retail stores, including those not in shopping malls, as well as gyms, recreational facilities and sports activities, health clubs, resorts, museums, cultural centers and theme parks.
