The Dubai Government Media Office and Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), announced the renewal of their partnership to initiate a joint initiative to provide communities with a new creative experience in Dubai’s public spaces.
The announcement was made by the generals of GDMO at a meeting held by the Dubai Government Media Office (GDMO). As part of the new partnership, the two organizations will work closely with each other to initiate projects and consolidate efforts to realize Dubai’s vision of transforming itself into an open-air museum.
The Dubai brand and RTA will implement a series of new initiatives that will enable them to collaborate with local and international artists to enrich Dubai’s public environment and establish new connections with the public through artistic and other forms of creative expression. The renewal of the partnership is a continuation of the results of the three-year cooperation, which has produced several unique collaborative creative projects.

In 2019, Brand Dubai and RTA organized the Metro Music Festival. Many musicians from traditional and non-traditional music genres performed at Dubai Metro Station. In the same year, they jointly launched the first phase of the parking meter project, turning the parking machines in the prominent areas into beautiful works of art.
