Mohammed Hassan waited for her at the customer’s door until she came back because he heard a baby crying in the apartment.

A deliveryman who arrived at the customer’s home to deliver the order found that no one was picking up the order at home. When calling a customer, 26-year-old Mohammed Hassan works at the food delivery app Talabat. She was told that it would take some time to leave the order at the door on the way home. However, Hassan waited for her at the customer’s door until she came back. He said he heard the cry of the baby in the apartment.

The deliveryman was not only praised by the customer for his attention, the customer posted his picture on social media with a thank you letter, and his employer Talabat also gave it a reward.

The customer was so moved and overwhelmed that she recounted the incident on social media and praised the unsung hero.

She recounted: “So, yesterday was my birthday, we ordered a cake through the Talabat app. When I rushed home, the driver called me and said he was outside my door with the cake. I asked him to leave it. At the door, because I haven’t got home yet, but he said, “Madam, I can’t leave! I heard a baby crying inside”, so I said someone took the baby, just leave it and get home soon.

“Ten minutes later, I arrived and rushed to check on the baby. I saw this hero driver standing in front of my house with a cake. He refused to leave until I arrived to make sure my baby was okay.”

She praised the rider and thanked him and his company, and added: “People like him (Muhammad Hassan) prove that human beings are amazing! Thank you very much Mohammad and Talabat for bringing such dignity to our lives. And caring people. #Thank you.”

When Khaliji Times Contacted the delivery man, Hassan, shy, said: “Although the customer asked me to leave the delivery at the door, my heart does not allow me to leave this place before the customer arrives. I have a little niece in my home country, Pakistan. With my nephew, the baby’s cry reminded me of them. In addition, we were trained in Talabat to ensure the safety and happiness of our customers, so at that moment, I felt that waiting was very important to me.”

Hassan said that he waited almost 10 minutes before the customer arrived. “The customer was shocked to see that I was waiting for her and thanked me very much for my concern. Seeing that she was here soon, I was relieved, and I left calmly when I left.”

Tarabat expressed appreciation for his efforts, took note of customer comments on social media, and decided to use his salary to reward the rider.

Hassan’s coach in Tallabat said: “We make sure that we recognize the good deeds of our riders and Hassan will receive a cash prize at the end of the month. We are very happy that Hassan can implement what he taught during training. It takes patience. , Kind, and become a superhero for everyone around.”
