In September, Emirates launched a global recruitment campaign to recruit crew and airport service staff.
Emirates plans to hire more than 6,000 employees in the next six months, because as vaccination rates increase, restrictions on a global scale have been relaxed. Additional pilots, crew members, engineering experts, and ground crews are needed to support the development of the airline.

Dubai’s flagship airline has restored 90% of its network and is expected to reach 70% of its pre-pandemic by the end of 2021. The world’s largest international airline is increasing its flight schedules to meet suppressed demand. It also deploys its high-capacity double-decker A380 aircraft on popular routes around its network. By November, Emirates will provide more than 165,000 additional seats for its flagship A380 aircraft.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Said Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, said: “We need to add 6,000 operations staff, which means that Dubai’s economy is recovering rapidly. It will also bring opportunities and other positive developments for various other businesses, including consumer, travel and tourism sectors.
“With the reopening of borders and the simplification of travel agreements, we have been cautiously restoring our operations, and with positive signs of economic recovery and continued growth in demand, we hope to return to the pre-pandemic state, starting from mid-2022 Start.”
Last week, U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing predicted that UAE and Middle Eastern airlines will hire approximately 196,000 new personnel over the next 20 years, including 54,000 pilots, 51,000 technicians, and 91,000 crew members.
In September, Emirates launched a global campaign Recruiting 3,000 flight attendants and 500 airport service employees Join its Dubai hub to support operational needs caused by the recovery of the tourism industry. With travel demand growing more than previously anticipated, Emirates will now need to add 700 ground crews in Dubai and across the network.
In addition, the airline is providing exciting career opportunities for 600 qualified pilots interested in joining the global airline’s flight operations team in Dubai. Candidates can find more information about roles and requirements on their career portal.
As part of the recruitment campaign, Emirates also aims to strengthen its engineering team by recruiting 1,200 skilled technicians (including aircraft engineers and engineering support staff) to station in Dubai and other sites.
