Dubai flights: Emirates says visit visa, entry permit holders can travel without approval-News

Passengers on tourist visas can now travel to Dubai.

Emirates’ customer service account has posted on Twitter that holders of visit visas and entry permits from countries that restrict travel to the UAE can fly to Dubai. The Emirates support department responded to multiple queries on Twitter.

“Entry permit holders can now travel from Pakistan to Dubai. You do not need GDRFA approval,” it said in a tweet.

The UAE authorities announced on Saturday that the country will resume issuing tourist visas. Starting today (August 30), people from all countries can apply for tourist visas.

Airline sources confirmed to Khaleej Times earlier that people with all types of visas and/or entry permits granted by the UAE authorities can fly to Dubai. The approved visa categories are: employment, short-term or long-term stay, visit and newly issued residence visas.
