The airline stated on its website on Friday that from September 4th, passengers departing from Austria, Maldives and Oman will no longer need to undergo Covid19 PCR testing when they arrive in Dubai.

The airline had earlier stated that it had been approved by the Directorate General of Foreign Affairs or the Federal Office of Identity and Citizenship Tourists to Dubai do not needHowever, they need to show a valid negative Covid19 PCR test certificate and issue a QR code within 48 hours of collecting samples from approved medical institutions. In addition, tourists also need a rapid PCR test report with a QR code so that they can be tested at the departure airport within 6 hours before departure.
