Young travelers now have their own passport control lanes and counters at Dubai International Airport (DXB), it was announced Friday.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai said in a statement that it has added new passport control platforms designed for children aged 4 to 12.
The new counters, located in the arrivals hall of DXB Terminal 3, feature a bright, unique space-themed design, the authority added.
The best part is that in this area, kids have the opportunity to have their own passports stamped.
“On special occasions, young travelers are greeted by ‘Salem and Salama’, the two mascots who wear the uniforms of Dubai’s GDRFA employees,” the authority said.
GDRFA explained that Salem and Salama were designed to create friendship for young visitors and create joy for them from the moment they set foot in the city.
