The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Monday that Dubai Marina Metro Station has been renamed Sobha Realty Metro Station.
The naming rights were acquired by Sobha Realty, a leading private developer in Dubai. recent, The names of the other two subway stations have been changed. Al Rashidiya and Al Jafiliya stations became Centrepoint and Max Fashion respectively.
Ibrahim Al Haddad, Commercial and Investment Director of RTA’s Strategy and Corporate Governance Department, stated that the new agreement with Sobha Realty is a model of an effective partnership between the public and private sectors.
“Sobha Realty will exclusively benefit from the strategic location of the city’s largest landmark and also provide metro passengers with an unparalleled close-up brand experience, thanks to the large number of unprecedented, technologically advanced smart solutions provided by Dubai Metro,” he Say.
Sobha Realty will get a complete advertising display of its brand, as well as a wide range of advanced technology and smart solutions.
