Dubai Maritime City receives ISO certification

Dubai Maritime City’s (DMC) Reservations Department has received ISO 9001:2015 Certificate of Approval from Lloyd’s Register of Quality Assurance (LRQA).

The certification recognizes DMC’s commitment to the Quality Management System for wet and dry berth bookings and booking services for DMC vessels. This achievement reinforces DMC’s focus on maintaining high quality to global standards and underscores its position as a leader in the maritime industry.

DMC’s berthing facilities are suitable for all types of vessels. The wet mooring area covers an area of ​​1.4 million meters and mainly provides marine services such as ship repair, maintenance and manufacturing. The industrial zone also has 42 dry berths to meet the needs of its partners.

Of the 581 boats that arrived at DMC last year, 538 were steel boats, 22 wooden boats, and the remaining 21 were leisure boats and yachts. This certification demonstrates DMC’s ability to consistently meet customer needs and comply with laws and regulations. This underscores DMC’s commitment to maintaining a client-centric approach and continuous process improvement to deliver efficient and effective services to the maritime business.
