The Dubai brand and RTA will collaborate with artists to enrich the space of the city.

It was announced on Tuesday that as the Dubai brand renews its partnership with the Road and Traffic Authority (RTA), it is expected that there will be more creative experiences in public places in the city.
A series of new initiatives will allow these two entities to collaborate with local and international artists to enrich Dubai’s public environment and establish new connections with the community through art and other forms of creative expression.
The renewal of the partnership between Dubai Brands and RTA is a continuation of three years of cooperation, bringing several unique projects to the city.

“Our previous three-year partnership has produced several projects that bring communities together to celebrate art, creativity, culture and heritage. RTA is committed to working with leading organizations and artists to change the environment that Dubai provides for residents and visitors ,” said Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, RTA Director General and Chairman of the Executive Board.

Mona Al Marri, Director of the Dubai Government Media Office, added: “These projects aim to promote the city’s rich heritage, modern international features and future vision, while improving people’s quality of life and well-being. Living and visiting Dubai. We believe in These initiatives will also help promote creativity and innovation, and attract talent, tourism and investment into our cities.”
Dubai Brand Director Nehal Badri said: “We are excited about the new possibilities that the second phase of our collaboration with RTA will bring. By synergizing our assets and capabilities, we look forward to providing exciting new creative experiences to the public.”
In 2018, the Dubai brand and RTA implemented a project for international artists to paint murals on the pillars of the Dubai Metro on Sheikh Zayed Road.
As part of the Jumeirah project, the two organizations also launched a series of public art installations at the bus station in 2020 to enhance the image of the community as a social and creative destination.
In 2019, the two entities hosted the Metro Music Festival, which was performed by musicians from traditional and non-traditional genres. In the same year, they jointly launched the first phase of the parking meter project, turning the parking machines in the prominent areas into beautiful works of art.
