Dubai’s hotel occupancy rate ranks second in the world, with an average of 61%.

The Ministry of Tourism and Commerce Marketing of Dubai (Dubai Tourism Authority) revealed that from January to July 2021, the city received 2.85 million international overnight visitors.

These visits have accelerated the momentum during this landmark Expo 2020 and the Golden Jubilee in the UAE.

Dubai is one of the first cities in the world to reopen markets and businesses, and continue to remain open, while ensuring strict compliance with global benchmark health and safety protocols.

The UAE is one of the countries with the highest per capita vaccination rate in the world. Nearly 89% of residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine, and nearly 78% of residents have received two doses of vaccine.

Driven by the domestic market’s demand for accommodation and the open international market for tourists, Dubai’s hotel occupancy rate reached 61% from January to July 2021, further enhancing confidence in the industry and demonstrating its attractiveness and The ability to provide guests with world-class hospitality.

Dubai continues to invest in integrated marketing activities, emphasizing that the city is open to travelers when they are ready to start their vacation again.
