Dubai Sports Council (DSC), in collaboration with ESM Co, is gearing up for the 4th Dubai Schools Games, the city’s largest sports tournament aimed at scouting and nurturing young talents for club sports.
DSC organizes this tournament to raise awareness among schools about the importance of physical activities for enhancing both physical and mental well-being, fostering a happy life.
The Organizing Committee has conducted coordinating meetings with DSC to finalize preparations for the tournament’s 4th edition. These meetings covered competition rules and regulations, ensuring that all Olympic events can be included in the tournament, with comprehensive reports prepared on sports talents identified throughout the competitions.
The tournament offers free participation for students aged 9 to 19 from all schools, providing numerous students with the opportunity to engage in sports competitions.
The Talents Scouting Programme is implemented in all sports competitions, attracting representatives from Dubai clubs who keenly observe promising talents and monitor their performance and progress.
To aid future transitions, each participating player has a dedicated sports file that can be utilized for university endeavors or when joining a sports club.
The previous edition of the Dubai Schools Games saw remarkable success during the last sports season, with over 5,000 students from 220 governmental and private schools competing in 22 sports events.
