The 26th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), brought to you by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), kicks off on June 29th and runs until September 3rd, offering an amazing 67 days of pure fun and excitement .
Get ready to be mesmerized by a whirlwind of concerts, events and amazing experiences as DSS returns with a celebratory start, just in time for the joyful festivities of Eid al-Fitr.
Get ready for an awesome summer with the best things Dubai has to offer including life-changing sweepstakes, can’t-miss retail promotions, diverse culinary options, and kids-free deals including a variety of hotels and attractions , as well as early bird discounts and a host of family-friendly experiences will be held at the city’s most iconic malls and popular destinations.
The DSS Opening Concert in celebration of Eid al-Adha kicks off with a bang on July 1, as music legends Hussain Al Jassmi and Kadim Al Sahir captivate the crowd at the Coca-Cola Arena. Doors open at 8pm and the show begins at 9pm. Don’t miss out on this summer’s great shows, tickets are available on Platinumlist, Dubai Calendar and the Coca-Cola Arena website starting at AED 150 (US$ 40.8).
Saudi Arabian legend Mohammad Abdo will also celebrate Eid al-Adha in Dubai with a spectacular show at the Coca-Cola Arena the following evening, 2 July. Tickets to see the iconic singer and guitarist perform live are available on Platinumlist starting at AED 295. Doors open at 8pm and show begins at 9:30pm.
Following a successful debut last year, Beat the Heat returns for a long-awaited second edition at The Agenda in Dubai Media City. Presented in partnership with DSS, Spotlight and Anghami throughout July and August, this spectacular weekly live concert series showcases established and up-and-coming regional artists across a variety of musical genres. Some of these talented artists include WEGZ, Cairokee, Afroto, Marwan Pablo, Balti, Disco Misr, Autostrad, Massar Egbari, Sharmoofers and many more.
