Deep Dive Dubai, the world’s deepest diving swimming pool, will open to the public on July 28th.

Deep Dive Dubai’s swimming pool is located in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai. It is 60.02 meters deep and 14 million liters deep, which is breathtaking.

Business hours

Deep Dive Dubai is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 12 noon to 8 pm. There are ample free parking spaces on site and the facility can be easily reached from Dubai’s main tourist and residential areas. It is only a 15-minute drive from downtown Dubai and a 20-minute drive from Dubai International Airport. Access to this facility is only possible if you book online in advance.

“Dubai Deep Diving allows thrill seekers of all ages and abilities to dive into another world full of possibilities in a safe, controllable and excellent underwater environment,” said Jarrod Jablonski, Director of Dubai Deep Diving.

Courses and tours

Designed for everyone of all ability levels aged 10 and above, experiences and courses are divided into three categories: exploration, diving, and development.

The exploration category of snorkeling, scuba diving and freediving experiences caters to those who want to try a single dive or snorkeling or take the first step towards becoming a diver certification. No diving certificate is required.

“The newly added exploratory snorkeling experience costs AED 400 per person, including fins, snorkels, masks and a special floating vest for one-hour guided snorkeling, allowing guests to witness the breathtaking depth of the sunken city And features,” the statement said.

All courses and experiences are provided by a carefully selected team of international diving professionals and supported by the latest equipment, technology and facilities-including the most advanced hyperbaric chamber in the area.

Discovery Freediving is a one-hour, guided, underwater experience that allows divers to dive 10 meters. The price is 1,000 dirhams per person, including flippers, snorkels, masks and diving suits, as well as experience videos.

Discovery Scuba Diving is a 1-hour guided scuba diving that allows beginners to dive 12 meters and interact with elements of the sunken city, including cars, phone booths, libraries, bicycles, and chess games. This will cost AED 1,500 per person, including all scuba diving equipment and experience videos.

Experiences in the “diving” category start at Dh600, allowing individuals from novices to experienced individuals to free diving or scuba diving within their certification scope.

“Development” courses include PADI Open Water Diving certification at a cost of AED 3,600 per person, including all equipment rental. It is said that this is an ideal first step for beginners who want to make progress in this sport.

Other courses in the “Development” category are priced as required, including a full range of leisure, technical and leadership freediving and scuba diving courses, with a focus on the unique courses of Dubai Deep Diving, including Nitrox, Advanced, Deep Diving, Rebreather and photography.

The ratio of tour guides to guests for all experiences is low, and all bookings include high-end equipment rentals. Includes free lockers, bathrobes and towel rental, all guests need to bring swimsuits and flip flops.

For each booking, one spectator can accompany the diver to go deep dive in Dubai, and each person allows up to two additional spectators at a cost of 100 dirhams.

What else to look forward to

In addition to the sunken city, Deep Dive Dubai’s 60m swimming pool also has two underwater habitats, with drying rooms at 6 meters and 21 meters respectively, 56 underwater cameras covering all angles of the pool, and advanced sound and Mood lighting system.

The facility also houses a dive shop, gift shop, 80-seat restaurant, and various meeting, event and meeting spaces.

Large viewing areas on the lower floors of the building will allow diners in restaurants and other rooms to peek into the underwater environment.
