Dubai: With Covid safety becoming the top agenda, students cheer on campus-News

[ad_1]

As Dubai seeks to overcome the fierce challenge of Covid-19, the students received great enthusiasm at the new academic conference and were welcomed back to school on Sunday.

Most schools organize enrollment/orientation activities to keep students busy in the first half of the day before class.

After the 58-day summer vacation, the atmosphere on the school campus was ecstatic. Students, including freshmen, welcomed their friends, peers and teachers with visible enthusiasm.

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, many students have turned to distance learning, so it has been more than a year to wait for the first day of face-to-face learning, and several students are waiting.

Earlier, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the education regulator in Dubai, announced that it would start 100% of classroom teaching on October 3.

The school and students comply with all Covid-19 safety protocols stipulated by the health authorities and KHDA.

Gems Al Barsha National School Principal Karim Murcia said: “Students are very happy to be back on campus. Last week the teachers were busy with onboarding/onboarding and training programs. They were very happy to meet our students. We are very pleased with the transformation of the incident. This is a moment worth cherishing, as we look forward to several exciting events in the coming weeks, such as the opening ceremony of the Expo 2020 and the Golden Jubilee celebration. We are in a very good position to ensure that the community benefits from this The overall experience of the school year.”

Most schools attach great importance to public health to prevent infection.

The students are also confident in the strict preventive norms that KHDA schools are complying with.

Ahmed Al Yousuf, an UAE student in grade VII of the school, said: “I am very happy to return to school. After a long gap, my friends and peers are the same. A wonderful feeling.”

“We also filled out a form about our likes and dislikes during our long absences to prevent the spread of raging infectious diseases.”
