Ducab Group, the UAE’s leading end-to-end solutions provider, has launched the revolutionary Blade, its advanced Future Smart Factory project based on Industry 4.0 technologies that will significantly speed up its operations.
Through Blade, factories use artificial intelligence, data analysis and intelligent supply chain management to provide solutions to improve product quality and promote the development of national industries.
The launch of Project Blade embeds advanced Industry 4.0 technology breakthroughs at the core of Ducab’s operations, including the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, big data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.

Blade plans to increase production by 20 percent within two years, increase customer service levels to 99 percent, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) by 20 percent within one year.
Additionally, the project helped reduce total machine downtime by 30% within one year, in addition to reducing inventory carrying costs and cost of quality by 20% and cost of quality by 10% within one year.
The group launched the new project at a special event hosted by MEED at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Center in the presence of Abdulla Sami Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial Growth at the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), He delivered the keynote speech, Mohammad Almutawa, CEO of Ducab Group, as well as Ducab executives and employees, customers, stakeholders and decision makers.
The event’s agenda included presentations on “Ducab’s Journey to Industry 4.0” and a panel discussion on the key advantages Blade offers Ducab customers.
