Exhibition space increased by 50% due to strong demand from exhibiting companies.
The second edition held earlier this year was an unprecedented success, attracting more than 10,000 professional visitors and 1,500 exhibitors and brands from 44 countries, arousing great interest from global coffee manufacturers and enterprises .
Khalid Al Hammadi, Senior Vice President, DXB Live, said: “Dubai Coffee World is an important annual event on the global MICE agenda as it attracts leaders, professionals and experts from the global coffee industry. Through this event, we aim to strengthen Dubai’s status as the center of the global coffee industry.”
DXB Live participated in the “Portland Specialty Coffee Expo” held in Portland, USA last month to promote “Coffee World – Dubai” and invite international companies and brands to participate in the event.
“We are keen to participate in regional and global events to actively communicate with all relevant stakeholders and bring them together under one roof so that they can take advantage of the promising business opportunities in Dubai and review the latest products, design and manufacture machinery, bakery and ground coffee,” adds Al Hammadi.
The 3rd edition of World of Coffee – Dubai 2024 will feature new events and competitions showcasing the skills of baristas such as ‘Cupping Room’, ‘Roasters Village’ and ‘Brew Bar’. The three-day competition will allow visitors to learn about coffee beans from different regions of the world and the methods of roasting and preparing coffee. Visitors can also watch barista demonstrations, sample coffee, and attend lectures and workshops.
