As we previously reported, her father Greg Dunigan and his wife Vanicia Mosley lived in the apartment, but were unable to rescue the children. The blind Vanicia had to jump from the second floor. Greg tried to rescue the children, but said that the area where the children were was already a serious fire. Although the children’s death not only shocked the community, but at their memorial service, photos of the children’s coffins were also circulated on social media, making many people hope to get justice for the children.

However, in this case, the tragedy seems to continue as Sabrina is facing charges for the death of her five children Loy-el Dunigan, 2 years old; Jabari Johnson , 4; twin 8-year-old girls, Heaven and Neveah “Veah” Dunigan; and Deontae Davis, 9-year-old.according to STL Today Online court records in St. Clair County show that Sabrina faces five charges of endangering the life/health of children, which is a felony charge.

Online court records also indicate that there is a grand jury lawsuit pending in this case. The Illinois Fire Chief’s Office is investigating the fatal fire and continues to raise the question of whether the children are home alone, which was initially suspected.

As the investigation continued, the report also revealed that both Sabrina and her father suspected that the accident was caused by an electrical fire and a lack of smoke detectors. However, the landlord denied this claim, saying that he had installed smoke detectors in all rental properties.
