Ed Sheeran There is a surprise show this weekend!
The “Perfect” singer shared a video of his impromptu performance at Atlanta’s SweetWater Brewery ahead of the concert on Saturday.
“So I’m in Atlanta and I’m told that there are some good breweries in Atlanta, so I’m going to this brewery, serve up some beer, play a show, and buy drinks for everyone in the beer garden. The beer is on me ,’ he said in the clip inside the car.
The video cuts to Sheeran behind him pouring beer for surprised customers, before taking the stage to tell them all the drinks are on him for the next hour. The Grammy-winning musician then took the stage to perform “Eyes Closed.”
The 32-year-old had fun with the brewery crowd before taking the stage at the city’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Sheeran’s newest pop-up store in Atlanta comes on the heels of another very special preview surprise.
Earlier this month, the “Thinking Out Loud” singer Students at Blake High School and Middleton High School in Tampa, Fla., stop by for band practiceWhen the members of the high school marching band were practicing his hit “Eyes Closed,” the singer walked in and strummed his guitar to delight them.
After the students had finished performing — and there were a few screams — Sheeran told them that he would be gifting the music program guitars and that he would provide each of them with his sold-out concert at Raymond James Stadium tickets.
Students were also treated to extra treats when the singer sang several songs, including “Perfect,” which got some students emotional. During the visit, Sheeran also took photos with special students and signed autographs, and performed.
