The Directorate General of Punishment and Correctional Institutions of the Dubai Police organized an Eid Outfit event for the children of 22 female prisoners.

He explained that the campaign involved taking the children to a major shopping mall, letting them choose their own Eid clothes and buying toys for them. Colonel Jamila Al Zaabi, director of the women’s prison, said they provided a positive and comfortable atmosphere for the children of female inmates, including proper food, drink, regular medical check-ups and basic reading and writing education.
