The Abu Dhabi authorities have announced new Covid-19 preventive measures for people celebrating Eid al-Adha in the capital.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office stated in a series of tweets that sacrifice donations, distributions and payments will be arranged with charitable organizations in the UAE. This can be done through an app approved by the Ministry of Municipal and Transportation.

The three applications approved for this purpose are Zabehaty, Zabayeh Al Jazeera and Dhabayeh Al Emarat.
Sacrifices must be made only in approved slaughterhouses that provide customers with drive-through services.
It is prohibited to purchase the services of mobile butchers that provide door-to-door services.
Regarding distribution to friends, the authorities stated that they must observe all safety measures.
It said: “Distribute to friends and relatives should be highly cautious and take all precautions to control the spread of Covid-19.”
On Friday, the authorities urged the public Extend Eid al-Fitr greetings digitally And avoid social gatherings.
It also requires community members who observe the occasion to avoid giving gifts, especially money, to prevent the spread of the virus.
