eLife subscribers will get a refund and discount if the beIN channel is deactivated

Etisalat by e& Not sure if the beIN channel will be available on eLife TV after the end of this month. A beIN spokesperson told Khaleej Times that discussions are currently underway with the UAE-based telco regarding the renewal and inclusion of the eLife TV channel after June 1.

Etisalat offers subscribers access to the beIN channel through its eLife package. The company has now shared details on how subscribers will be affected if the channel is taken down:

What happens if the service is interrupted?

All affected customers will be notified by text message, email and eLife TV on or before June 1. “If the service stops, beIN content will be automatically removed from the eLife subscription and your invoice will be reduced accordingly,” Etisalat states on its website.

Will subscribers get a refund or discount?

According to the company, if you subscribed to beIN as part of the eLife bundle, you will receive a text message or an email with information about the recurring monthly discount you will receive as part of the change. “If you subscribed to beIN separately from the eLife plan, you will no longer be charged for it from June 2023.”

If beIN is deactivated, will subscribers still be able to access the channel?
