When talking about his intention to successfully advance brain chip implantation, Elon Musk said: “Neuralink works very well on monkeys. We actually just did a lot of tests to confirm that it is very safe and reliable, and Neuralink equipment can It is safely removed. We hope to achieve this in our first batch of humans. Next year these people will be people with severe spinal cord injuries, such as quadriplegia and quadriplegia, waiting for FDA approval.”

He also added that his main concern is to ensure that quality and standards are at the highest level, and that Neuralink’s “standards for implantable devices are much higher than the FDA’s requirements.”

After the interview, Musk posted more information about his plan on social media. “When we use devices on humans (which are difficult to have subtle conversations with monkeys) next year, progress will accelerate,” he wrote.
