Emagine Entertainment’s summer kids’ movie series kicks off Friday. Family-friendly retro movies start at $3 each.Family is part of Emagine
Do you have a little rascal who loves movies?
How about wanting to share one of your favorite movies with your kids?
Imagine Theater announces a Summer Kids Movie Series Featuring a selection of retro films from the past, it gives parents the opportunity to see their favorite movies while introducing them to the next generation.
The summer series begins Friday at all Emagine Theater locations and continues throughout the summer, with tickets also priced at $3 each. The Magic Pack deal includes popcorn and a drink for $5.
“Emagine is excited to offer families a fun and affordable way to enjoy summer through our line of discounted kids’ movies. We believe every child should experience the magic of movies and we’re committed to making it accessible to all That experience,” said Anthony LaVerde, CEO of Emagine Entertainment.
Each week a different film is shown, including:
• June 9-14: “Beethoven”
• June 16-22: “Little Rascals”
• June 23-29: “Peter Pan”
• June 30-July 6: “The Cat in the Hat” by Dr. Seuss
• July 7-13: “Home”
• July 14-20: “Super Minds”
• July 21-27: “Trolls”
• July 28-August 3: “Crazy Barbarians”
• August 4th to August 10th: “Tom and Jerry”
• August 11th – August 17th: “DC Super Pet League”
Beethoven (PG) – A drooling St. Bernard becomes the center of attention for a loving family, but he must contend with a dozing veterinarian and his henchmen.
Rascal (PG) – Clover is courting Darla, and his “girl-hating” friends try to sabotage the relationship.
Peter Pan (PG) – Peter Pan visits the Darling children as he takes them to Neverland, where an ongoing war with the evil pirate captain Hook is ongoing.
PhD. The Cat in the Hat by SEUSS (PG) – A talking cat visits two bored kids whose lives are turned upside down.
HOME (PG) — An alien fleeing his kindred befriends a girl. He tries to help her with her mission, but could become a distraction.
Supervillain (PG Rating) – Supervillain Supervillain finally defeats his nemesis, the superhero Subway Man. But without a hero, he loses all purpose and must find new meaning for his life.
TROLLS (PG) — DreamWorks Animation’s TROLLS is an irreverent comedy extravaganza with incredible music! From the genius creators of Shrek, Trolls stars Anna Kendrick as the upbeat troll leader Poppy and her opposite, Blanche, played by Justin Timberlake. Together, the unlikely pair of trolls must embark on an adventure that takes them far beyond the only world they’ve ever known.
The Wilds (PG) – The Wilds are a family of eccentric cavemen who live in the harsh terrain according to a strict set of rules. But when their homeland is destroyed in a looming disaster known as “The End,” they are forced to leave the shelter and safety of their homeland and venture into the uncharted wilds in search of a new home.
Tom and Jerry (PG) – When Jerry moves into the best hotel in New York City on the eve of the “Wedding of the Century,” one of the most popular rivalries in history is reignited, forcing the event’s desperate planners to hire Tom got rid of his. The ensuing cat-and-mouse battle threatens to destroy her career, her wedding, and possibly the hotel itself. But soon, a bigger problem arises: an ambitious employee plotting against the three of them. A stunning blend of classic animation and live-action, Tom and Jerry’s all-new big-screen adventure breaks new ground for the iconic characters and forces them to do the unthinkable… working together to save the world.
DC Super Pets (PG) – In “DC Super Pets,” Krypton the superdog and Superman are inseparable best friends who share superpowers and work together to fight crime in Metropolis. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypton must convince a ragtag group of shelters—Ace the Hound, PB the Pot-bellied Pig, Merton the Turtle, and Chip the Squirrel—to take hold of their newfound powers and help He rescues superheroes.
