As part of the Abu Dhabi Dream Ball fundraising gala…
read all about itEmeli Sandé is just one member of a sparkling universe locked up and heading to Abu Dhabi for the 4th Annual Abu Dhabi Dream Ball.
Held at W Abu Dhabi on Yas Island on Thursday 17th November, the event was, as always, about raising funds for a well-deserved cause. This year, the charity in question is Anera, which has been supporting refugees and disadvantaged communities in the Middle East since 1968.
If you prefer tickets, a VIP table for up to 10 people costs AED 25,000, or you can buy a single seat for AED 2,500. Affordable? Probably not on a reporter’s salary, but most of the guests below are doing well for themselves, and what’s more – proceeds go to charity, of course.
British songstress Sandé, probably best known for her massive success by my side, will join the lineup of performers for the night. Other guests include HE Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, who will address the ceremony. Raya Abirached will host the event and the glamorous Deepak Chopra will also be speaking.
The guest list doesn’t stop there. Also down were fashion mogul Elie Saab’s son – Elie Saab Jr, CNBC anchor Hadley Gamble, former Chelsea star John Mikel Obi and F1 driver. Zhou Guanyu and Valtteri Bottas.
The main event is a silent auction where guests can bid on luxury items and experiences – donations will also be made that night.
