Dubai: EMERGE has become one of the most prestigious international tech conferences with a focus on emerging markets. Bringing together start-ups, tech talents, investors and related industries from New Oriental (MENA, CEE, Balkans, Turkey and Central Asia).
Launched in Belarus in 2018, the EMERGE conference has become an “offline” focus for tech, bringing together great minds and leaders from the industry both online and offline. Over the years, events have attracted up to 12,000 participants from more than 100 countries, and this year EMERGE is expanding its reach to the MENA region.
This year’s focus will be on exploring the latest tech and venture capital news, founder stories, women in tech, and mentoring sessions for tech talent. Top experts from Binance, Google, Microsoft, Insilico Medicine, ARTISANT, Modus Capital and more will be participating in this year’s conference.
For this edition, EMERGE will bring venture funds such as Flat6Labs, V7 Group, AK Venture, Global Millennial Capital, GrowX Ventures, and many more investors with proven track records in supporting emerging startups. They will participate in one-on-one meetings with startups, online mentoring sessions, special investor events and pitches.
The annual start-up competition EMERGE CHALLENGE is accepting applications from start-up ticket holders until May 8, and the winner can receive an investment commitment of up to $500,000. EMERGE CHALLENGE’s mission is to help early-stage startups in emerging markets scale globally – EMERGE startups have raised over $25 million in investment in previous years.
2023 will also be the year of the launch of EMERGE CLUB – an exclusive membership club for all SUPER COMBO ticket holders. Members will be entitled to a host of special benefits, exclusive access to investment opportunities, emerging startups, new technologies, special events, networking opportunities, one-on-one meetings with advisors from around the world, VC planning sessions, special offers for attending EMERGE offline activities.
Past EMERGE speakers include Silicon Valley investor Tim Draper, angel investor and supermodel Natalya Vodianova, TechCrunch contributing editor Mike Butcher, renowned author and alternative medicine advocate Deepak Chopra, former editor-in-chief of MIT Technology Review Gideon Lee Chifield.
