Emirates signed a codeshare agreement with airBaltic to provide customers with enhanced connections to and from Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Finland. The codeshare partnership will open up new travel opportunities and provide Emirates customers with easy access to the Baltic region. AirBalitc’s customers will also benefit from seamless access to Emirates’ extensive network through Dubai.

The code sharing agreement will provide customers from key markets such as the Middle East, West Asia, the Far East and Australia with more channels and connections to the Baltic countries.
Emirates will place its “EK” marketing code on airBaltic flights operating between Dubai-Riga (Latvia); Riga-Tallinn (Estonia); Riga-Vilnius (Lithuania); and Riga-Helsinki ( Finland). airBalitc will also place its “BT” marketing code on Emirates’ routes: Dubai-Bangkok (Thailand); and Dubai-Jakarta (Indonesia).

Emirates currently has codeshare agreements with 22 airline partners and two railway companies. The airline has also signed intermodal agreements with more than 115 airlines and railway companies.
