Emirates flights: Etihad Airways says its verified flight service is temporarily closed today-News

[ad_1]

The airline stated that even if passengers have not yet passed the flight verification and proceeded to the airport as planned, they can still fly.

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, announced that its flight verification services will be suspended due to on-site maintenance.

The Abu Dhabi-based airline announced on Tuesday that the service will stop accepting new requests from 9 am to 4 pm on September 7, 2021.

With the Verified to Fly service, passengers can verify their travel documents and arrive at the airport with confidence, knowing that they have met all basic Covid-19 requirements before departure.

Although using the Verified to Fly service is not mandatory, it is strongly recommended that you help you check in at the airport faster and smoother.

The airline said it will process requests from passengers who have already submitted documents via email.

However, the airline stated that even if passengers fail the flight verification, they can still fly and they should go to the airport as planned.

“Please note that our contact center cannot provide any further updates at this stage. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and are working hard to enhance this service for our guests and partners,” Etihad Aviation said.

Verified to Fly is currently available in all global airports of Abu Dhabi and Etihad Airways, excluding Bangladesh, China, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The following is the passenger guide issued by Etihad Airways on its website during the maintenance period:

-If you have submitted the file via email before then, you do not need to take any action and your request will be processed.

-If you have received an email from us regarding travel document requirements, you can still reply to the email with the required documents and the request will be processed.

-If you confirm your contact information between 9 am and 4 pm on September 7, you will not be able to use Verified to Fly.

-If possible, please wait until 4pm UAE time and our service will resume operation.
