The Abu Dhabi-based airline now offers a more streamlined and personalized experience through its website
Etihad Airways announced that it has upgraded its “flight verification” service to provide more streamlined and personalized services through its website etihad.com.
This upgrade allows Etihad Airways guests to complete this process faster and easier to ensure that they have all the necessary Covid-related documents before heading to the airport. 7 days before the trip, all guests will receive a personalized email informing them of the documents required for their destination. These travel documents can now be uploaded directly to the “Manage My Booking” page of etihad.com 72 hours before departure.
The new website function replaces the email upload system launched by the airline in May 2021. The new upload process will guide passengers through the upload process and display the specific documents required for verification for their chosen destination.
After uploading, the file will be checked and the guest will receive an email confirming that they have met all the flight requirements. In addition, passengers can check their submission status at any time by logging into etihad.com’s “Manage My Booking”. As a result, they can start their journey with complete confidence and will also benefit from a noticeably faster check-in at the airport.
John Wright, Vice President of Airport and Network Operations, Etihad Airways, said: “The Etihad Airways verified flight service has been used by more than 110,000 passengers and has now been further improved and simplified. The service has significantly reduced airport handling. Check-in time and provide our guests with much-needed assurance that they have met all Covid-19 travel requirements before arriving at the airport.”
The Abu Dhabi-based airline announced on Tuesday that the service will be available in Close for new request September 7, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
