Emirates’ newest brand ambassador, Gerry the Goose, invites customers to learn about the benefits and services of the world’s largest international airline and choose “Fly Better”.
From September, the global advertising campaign will be in full swing around the world, reminding customers that Emirates offers an “impeccable” inflight travel experience, including award-winning inflight entertainment, world-class cabin crew, regionally inspired cuisine and The acclaimed drink.
To complement the “Best in Air” service, Emirates also offers an impressive ground experience – through countless online and home check-in options, chauffeur-driven airport transfers and first-class lounges.
The campaign storyline follows Gerry as he decides to fly better in the comfortable and refined Emirates premium economy class while his migratory bird brother is in “poultry humor” after a long and exhausting flight. As they flew out of the plane window, Gerry smugly bypassed his peers while he indulged in delicious food, reclining in his spacious seat and enjoying The Goose, Badass and Ugly on his 13.3-inch personal entertainment screen. “Movie.

Gerry Goose Bio
Gerry started his career at Emirates headquarters in Dubai, where his journey concept was conceived and took off. Then head to Untold Studios in London to bring the original 3D goose model to life with computer-generated imagery (CGI). The CGI and filming process took 14 weeks, and a talented team carefully crafted every feather, lighting and texture, while making sure the carefully crafted movements brought the characters to life. This included animating Gerry’s friends, shooting nature scenes in London and filming on an Emirates plane in Dubai.
Relatively new to the acting scene, Gerry cites career highlights from his UAE TV ad campaign. The ad will run for a month in 25 countries starting August 30th.
Throughout filming, Gerry teamed up with British voice-over genius Michael Cronin to capture the melodious tones of a seasoned nature documentary writer.
Gerry’s species heritage is the Canada goose (Branta canadensis), a large wild goose with a black head and neck, white cheeks, and a white and brown body under the chin. They are native to the arctic and temperate regions of North America and were discovered during migrations from northern Europe across the Atlantic. – arab trade news agency
