ABU DHABI, 19th April, 2023 (WAM) — Abu Dhabi, an innovative and disruptive coding school in the UAE capital of 42, and BEACON RED, a provider of advanced networking solutions, have jointly organized a major hackathon with more than 70 Emiratis participated and 42 international students from Abu Dhabi.
The hackathon serves as a hands-on event for students to build a system to analyze online stores, find security holes, and understand how attackers are trying to manipulate their code.
During the hackathon, the students tackled different challenges and presented their innovative solutions, winning several prizes with the knowledge and experience they gained during the two-day hackathon.
Hosting this hackathon at Campus 42 Abu Dhabi is part of the school’s efforts to enrich the learning experience of its students and provide them with the tools to become well-rounded professionals in the digital space with unlimited opportunities for career development. 42 Abu Dhabi continues its commitment to preparing students to play an important role in the emirate’s digital transformation and to develop a technology-driven generation of coders who will drive the digital economy through innovation.
Ilia Mazourine took first place in the hackathon, followed by Hussain Awadh in second and Yonaton Moges in third.
