ABU DHABI, 8th August, 2022 (WAM) — As of 2022, 4,940 degrees have been awarded and 4,770 engineers have graduated from the Abu Dhabi University (ADU) College of Engineering (CoE), one of the largest engineering colleges in the UAE.
Of these graduates, 32% are women and 36% are Emiratis, reaffirming ADU’s diverse student body and its commitment to empowering and empowering nationals and women in the workforce in line with the UAE government’s national agenda.
Graduates range from the construction sector (33%) to the industrial sector (25%), electrical and computing (21%), and engineering and project management (20%), reflecting ADU’s commitment to ensuring students have access to a comprehensive Academic experience that enables them to grow, succeed and prepare them for their future careers in a variety of majors. 94% of CoE graduates said they were satisfied with their educational experience at ADU, and 86% said they were currently working or studying in a field related to their studies.

According to the Global Employability Rankings and Surveys (GEURS) 2022, ADU ranks first in the UAE for employability and third in the Arab world. Some prominent employers of university graduates include ADNOC, Etihad Airways, ADDC, Schlumberger, GAL, Transco, Borouge and AD Ports Group.
The Abu Dhabi University (ADU) College of Engineering (CoE) is the largest engineering college in the UAE. The Faculty offers a range of engineering and technology courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with new and innovative courses constantly being introduced.
In recent news, ADU’s CoE has launched four new concentrations for fall 2022 as part of its ongoing investment in preparing students for future careers. New emphases include Big Data Analytics and Web and Mobile Application Development under the Bachelor of Software Engineering, and Cybersecurity and Game Development under the Bachelor of IT. Accredited by the UAE Council for Academic Accreditation (CAA), the new major is designed to equip students with the skills they need to prepare them for the most in-demand jobs and fastest-growing career fields of the 21st century.
The CoE courses offered by ADU are developed according to the best standards of international professional bodies such as the Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Society of Chemical Engineers, Society of Biomedical Engineering and Society for Computing Machinery.
