ABU DHABI, 9th January, 2023 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority, ADAA, has launched the ADAA Smart app, which offers several features, including access to the Wajib platform.
The app allows individuals to report financial or administrative misconduct that could cost public money and resources, not just to investigate but to prevent them from happening.
The launch aims to encourage a sense of shared responsibility and promote a culture of awareness in Abu Dhabi to protect public resources.
ADAA develops its digital platform according to the highest global quality and information security standards, and utilizes the latest artificial intelligence technology and optimized use of data. Additionally, the app maintains user confidentiality and privacy, promotes the value of accountability and awareness of integrity among government employees and individuals, and strengthens the emirate’s standing and trust in its financial and economic systems.

An ADAA spokesperson said that the digital transformation process reflects the vision and mission of the authority to protect public funds, and that the creation of the ADAA Smart app is in line with the themes of the Abu Dhabi Digital Agenda: Government Services, How to Utilize and Benefit from Digital Channels, Government Solutions to Support Abu Dhabi A joint digital transformation program between government entities in Dhabi, utilizing artificial intelligence systems, and strengthening the emirate’s active role in many areas, including achieving a high level of integrity and transparency.
