ABU DHABI, 4th September, 2022 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Judiciary Department (ADJD) has expanded the use of an interactive bilingual claim form for cases submitted to courts as Spanish has been , French, Hindi, Russian and Chinese, bringing the total number of languages used in the bilingual claim form to seven, allowing foreign litigants to easily understand court procedures in their own language and become familiar with their rights and obligations under the law.
Commenting on the news, Abu Dhabi Deputy Minister of Justice Youssef Saeed Al Abri said the expanded use of bilingual claim forms is in line with His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidency instruct. He noted that the addition of Spanish to the claim form will benefit residents of some 20 communities in the country and is part of the framework of a bilingual litigation system designed to provide world-class judicial services that meet international standards.
