ABU DHABI, 17th April, 2023 (WAM) — In the presence of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Sheikh Khali Housing benefits worth AED 2.74 billion have been approved for 1,800 citizens in Abu Dhabi under the direction of His Highness de bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Housing benefits include waiving loan repayments for low-income retirees and families of deceased mortgagors. The grant covers Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra. Loans cover the following housing categories: Construction, Demolition and Reconstruction, and Repair and Extension.
The first housing scheme for 2023, which coincides with Eid celebrations, reflects the leadership’s commitment to ensuring social stability and enabling citizens to build strong, stable families that will benefit the UAE’s future.
