ABU DHABI, 16th November, 2022 (WAM) —The Uruguayan national team trained intensively at the NYU Abu Dhabi football stadium as the most anticipated football match in the world was about to kick off.
Uruguay, along with other national teams, chose Abu Dhabi as their training camp destination to take advantage of the emirate’s world-class sports infrastructure and proximity to the host country.
As the football craze heats up, the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) is gearing up to host the ultimate place to watch all the action in the Emirates at the Yas Links Stadium on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Yas Island Fan Zone – The FIFA World Cup Viewing Experience will be open throughout the tournament, covering 10,000 square meters and accommodating 2,000 guests per day.
Featuring one of the largest outdoor screens in the country, the dedicated fan zone will also offer supporters and their families a range of interactive activities, community gaming events, live entertainment and tasty snacks while they cheer on their favorite teams, player.
