ABU DHABI, 5th December, 2022 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi International Food Show, organized by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, ADNEC and the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, ADAFSA, and the 8th The annual Abu Dhabi Food Show Date Palm Exhibition, in partnership with the Khalifa International Date Palm Awards, starts tomorrow and runs until 8 December at ADNEC.
The two exhibitions are organized under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister in the Presidency and Chairman of ADAFSA.
The first Abu Dhabi International Food Show will feature more than 30 international speakers in a variety of discussions focusing on three pillars, namely food safety, investment and innovation in food production, and the food and beverage industry.
There will also be a number of side events including the International Buyers Programme, World Gourmet Show, Innovation Awards, UAE National Barista Championship and World Latte Art Championship, which will be held outside Milan, Italy for the first time.
Abu Dhabi International Food Show will also showcase the rapid growth of the specialty coffee industry, which is the most consumed beverage in the world.
This event will host two competitions recognized by the World Coffee Event and authorized by the Specialty Coffee Association, namely the UAE National Batista Championship and the “Gourmet Championship” that will qualify for the 2023 World Coffee Championship.
Apart from a series of bilateral meetings between buyers and sellers in various supply chains, the exhibition is expected to witness the announcement of numerous contracts and deals and the signing of partnership agreements between a wide range of government agencies and private sector companies.
