ABU DHABI, 19th May, 2023 (WAM) — Under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation, ADMAF, has unveiled its cultural program at Riwaq Al Adab Wal Kitab’s initiative at the 32nd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) from 22-28 May 2023.
Titled Poetry Never Dies, this year’s program honored the esteemed Emirati with the launch of 14 literary publications, engaging panel discussions, educational seminars and an exclusive book signing featuring more than 30 prominent authors and intellectuals from across the UAE. Poet Habib Al Sayegh tribute and the Arab world.
The engaging program showcased a variety of events to celebrate Habib Sayeq’s legacy and promote the richness of Arabic literature. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with renowned authors, explore critical reading, and gain insight into the world of poetry through discussions and workshops. With the support of Nabati, Al Dhabi and Emirates Writers Union publishers, the program promises to be an inspiring and enriching experience for all involved.

ADMAF has announced book signings featuring established and emerging authors and poets at the ADMAF booth and the UAE Writers Union booth. Attendees can connect with their favorite authors, get signed copies of their books, and engage in engaging panel discussions. Notable signings include a “Critical Reading on Habib Al-Sayegh’s Poetry Experience” at the ADMAF stand on May 26th from 6-7pm. There will also be a panel discussion on the future of Arabic poetry and the poetry of Habib Al Sayegh. Additionally, a workshop titled “Fundamentals of Creative Writing” will be held at the ADMAF booth on May 25th from 6:30-7:30 pm.
ADMAF’s Riwaq Al Adab Wal Kitab initiative at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair provides a unique platform for literature lovers, scholars and artists to come together and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the UAE and the Arab world. The program demonstrates the importance of literature, poetry and critical discourse, while recognizing the far-reaching contributions of Habib Al Sayegh.
