ABU DHABI, 12th August, 2022 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Sports Council has announced the launch of the ‘Team Manager’ programme to improve efficiency and quality of performance, which will boost the management system of clubs in Abu Dhabi.
The programme is an initiative of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council to provide advanced expertise that positively reflects the general level of sports in Abu Dhabi.
The initiative, which targets 30 participants and runs through December, aims to empower executive cadres and provide them with all the elements needed to successfully perform their tasks in the management and supervision of sports teams.
During the training, participants will have to complete communication courses in Arabic and English, which include planning and organizing time management, communicating effectively, innovating and working under pressure.
Participants will learn about principles of sport management and organization of indoor and outdoor camps, sports psychology and a 10-day real-life period in European clubs.
Talal Al Hashemi, Executive Director, Sports Development, Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said: “The goal is to continuously update the club’s management system to keep it up to date.
“The new programme will facilitate role integration and support development programmes across all Abu Dhabi club teams’ sports.”
