ABU DHABI, 25th May, 2023 (WAM) — Solutions+, a Mubadala company, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between its subsidiary, Abu Dhabi Entertainment Company, (ADEC), and PRO Events, a subsidiary of Al Ain Club Investment Company ( AACIC).
The MoU, signed at a ceremony held in Mubadara Tower, outlines the strategic potential for ADEC and PRO Events to collaborate on various initiatives. This includes events such as conferences, seminars and exhibitions in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The MoU will provide opportunities for both organizations to explore the planning and execution of video game competitions and other similar events in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The MOU also leverages the strengths and resources of both organizations for mutual benefit and contributes to the growth of the sports, esports and leisure industries in the region.
ADEC Acting CEO Khalid Al Mutawa and PRO Events General Manager Rashed Abdulla signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
The signing ceremony from ADEC and Solutions+ also included Homaid Al Shimmari, Chairman of Solutions+, Mubadala Deputy Group CEO and Chief Corporate and Human Capital Officer, Nasir Al Nabhani, CEO of Solutions+, Ali Alyafei, Director of Strategy and Innovation, Chairman of ADEC. The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman of the Board Sultan Hamad Al Dhaheri and Board Member Dr. Zeyad Amir Saleh from AACIC.
Nasir Al Nabhani, CEO, Solutions+, said: “The ownership of ADEC was transferred to Solutions+ earlier this year. This allows us to now explore opportunities beyond shared services. Enhance Abu Dhabi’s growing reputation as a regional sports and entertainment hub.”
