ABU DHABI, 10th April, 2023 (WAM) — The Legal Affairs Committee of the Abu Dhabi Justice Department, ADJD, has issued a decision approving the applications for the registration of eight new Emirati lawyers to practice law. In addition, the Board accepted registration renewal applications from 13 other attorneys.
The committee, chaired by Deputy Justice Minister Yousef Saeed Alabri, also dealt with complaints against lawyers and took appropriate decisions on the matter.
The Committee further approved the application of one UAE lawyer to transfer his registration to the non-practising register and the application of another UAE national lawyer to transfer his registration to the practicing register.
The meeting was attended by Judge Bushaib Hajjami of Al Ain Court of Appeal, Judge Assem Elsaadany of Abu Dhabi Commercial Court, Mohamed Dhewaiher Mohamed Alkatheeri of the Public Prosecution, Abdullah Fadhl Al Hammadi, Prosecutor and Khamees Mubarak Al Qubaisi, Director of the Law Firm. and Expert Affairs Division, as Rapporteur of the Committee.
