Emirates News Agency – ADNEC to host leading international conference, exhibition in 2023

ABU DHABI, 1st February, 2023 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, part of the ADNEC Group, is gearing up to host a major international exhibition and conference in 2023, welcoming visitors, exhibitors and speakers from around the world By.

Nearly a third (33%) of these events will be held in Abu Dhabi and the Middle East for the first time, in line with ADNEC Group’s efforts to cement Abu Dhabi’s position as the region’s business tourism capital with socio-economic impact, Support the sustainable development of tourism in Abu Dhabi.

The center’s 2023 schedule includes several events taking place simultaneously. This is thanks to the opening of Marina Hall, the MENA region’s most renowned specialist waterfront showroom covering 10,000 square meters. Marina Hall has helped increase total indoor and outdoor exhibition space to more than 153,000 square meters, enhancing the centre’s ability to host multiple events simultaneously and cementing its position as the most extensive exhibition and conference center in the MENA region.

The center’s activities this year began with the 46th Arab Police and Security Leaders Conference on January 9, attended by security chiefs from Arab countries and representatives of Arab and global agencies. This was followed by the inauguration at the Marina Hall of the Jiwun research vessel developed by Abu Dhabi Environment Agency, the first of its kind in the UAE and the most advanced in the Middle East. From 16-18 January, a series of events followed as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, bringing together ministers, top policy makers, business leaders and technology pioneers from around the world.

These events include the World Future Energy Summit, Zayed Sustainability Prize Ceremony, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit, Sustainable Innovation Forum, EcoWASTE 2023, Water Show and Forum, Smart City Forum, and Environment and Climate Forum. The Center also hosted the 2nd Abu Dhabi Integrative Mental Health Conference and accompanying events on 20th and 21st January.

In February, the center will host XPRIZE Feed, the Next Billion Race, held 2-7 February, an international competition held every four years to revolutionize the global food supply chain and its impact on Impact on the global community.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ADNEC Group will also partner with the Ministry of Defense to host the 16th Defense Exhibition (IDEX 2023) and the 7th Naval Defense Exhibition (NAVDEX 2023) February 20-24.

From March 3-5, the center will host the Middle East Film & Comic Con 2023 for comic book fans, movie buffs, and innovative artists, creators, and characters. The center will also host the 14th Annual Abu Dhabi Wound Care Conference on 4-5 March and the National Service 2023 organized by the Ministry of Defence’s National Service and Reserve Administration on 6-8 March. A career fair to facilitate networking among military members, reservists, and those seeking military jobs.

In April, the center will host the Abu Dhabi Schools and Nursery Exhibition on 29 and 30 April, bringing together select schools and nurseries in one venue to address their educational concerns.

In May, the center will host more than seven exhibitions and conferences, including the World Utility Congress on May 9 and 10, where leaders from the energy sector will discuss trends and technologies that will impact future energy needs. The Annual Investment Forum 2023 will also be held for the first time in Abu Dhabi on 9-10 May, with a variety of events including exhibitions and roundtables. The center will also host the IATA Ground Handling Conference from 16-18 May, also for the first time in the UAE. It plays a vital role as a platform for all leaders in the aviation and ground handling sectors to discuss topics in the field.

The Middle East Rail 2023 Exhibition and Conference will be held on May 15-16 in conjunction with the Middle East’s first Road & Transport Expo 2023 and Mobility Live. This is a standout event focused on using innovation and technology to make a significant and tangible impact in the transport sector.

From 22-28 May, the center will host the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, an annual literary event that brings together key players in the MENA region’s publishing industry. The month’s events will conclude with the Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit on May 29-31.

From July 20-23, the center will host the 34th International Congress of Nursing Research for the first time in the Middle East. There will be a large number of experts and scholars from the nursing field and other related fields attending the meeting.

From 23-29 August, ADNEC will host the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Show, the largest annual event of its kind in the Middle East and Africa dedicated to hunting and equestrian events as well as the promotion and preservation of the country’s cultural heritage .

In October, the center will host world-class events: Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition (ADIPEC) from 2-5 October; World Investment Forum (UNCTAD 2023) for the first time in the UAE from 16-20 October Held; the International Council of Archives (ICA) meeting, October 10-13, and the 2023 International Motorcycle Show, October 19-22, among other events.

The center will also host the Global IT Challenge 2023, the first international competition to be held in the Middle East from 25-27 October. The event aims to develop the competencies and skills of determined individuals in the field of information technology. From 31 October to 2 November, the center will host the World Ports Congress 2023, which will be held in the UAE for the first time. It brings together some of the world’s most famous port operators and many other events in October.

In November, the center will host more than a dozen major international exhibitions and conferences, including Abu Dhabi Jewelery & Watch Fair 2023 from 1-5 November; Abu Dhabi International from 16-19 November Boat Show; Global Media Conference 14-16 November; School and Nursery Show 18-19 November; First Afro-Asian Underwriters and Reinsurers Federation Conference 19-21 November in UAE ; Viva Middle East from 20-22 November; Abu Dhabi International Food Show and Abu Dhabi Dates from 27-29 November and many other events.
