ABU DHABI, 27th September, 2022 (WAM) — As part of its mission to share Abu Dhabi with the world, the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) has joined forces with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and Abu Dhabi Zabi Marine will be participating in this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
Government departments will work together to position and promote the UAE as a leading superyacht destination for Europe’s leading industry event.
The four-day event will run from September 28 to October 1 and is expected to be attended by 580 exhibitors, including destination representatives, yacht management companies, superyacht designers and builders, as well as luxury consumer and automotive brand and more than 30,000 visitors.
The presence of UAE superyacht industry regulators, stakeholders and service providers will draw attention and draw audiences to explore the UAE’s destination offerings, superyacht products and services.
At the show, DCT Abu Dhabi, DET and Abu Dhabi Maritime will highlight industry legislative improvements in the UAE, including cruise permit extensions and charter permit processes, immigration and customs clearance updates. They will also promote the UAE’s calendar of exciting industry cluster events such as the 2022 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, 2022 Gulf Superyacht Summit and P&O Marinas Dubai Yachting Grand Prix.
