ABU DHABI, 19th February, 2023 (WAM) — By strengthening its integrated ecosystem and enhancing food supply chains, the Khalifa Economic Zone Abu Dhabi, the KEZAD Group, is working towards making the UAE the world’s best country for global food security Vision to 2051 index.
KEZAD is participating in the 28th edition of Gulfood, one of the world’s largest food and beverage sourcing events, to showcase its products, services and business solutions and build a deep presence among more than 5,000 participating companies from 125 countries understanding.
These companies will have the opportunity to learn how KEZAD creates possibilities in the food industry by providing the right environment for growth and success. Visitors to the event will be able to see the key benefits KEZAD has to offer and hear the experiences of companies operating in this industry already in the KEZAD ecosystem.
KEZAD’s food industry ecosystem currently covers more than 7 million square meters (7.3 km2), of which 3.3 km2 is dedicated to Abu Dhabi Food Hub – KEZAD, with over 40 global, regional and local companies currently operating in the ecosystem .

The KEZAD Group’s food ecosystem includes some of the world’s largest brands including Sadia, Pinar, Oasis, Nestle, Lacnor, Al Kabeer and AlDahra Kohinoor.
KEZAD’s upcoming projects include PRAN Foods’ AED 110 million facility covering more than 42,000 square meters for local production and export in the MENA region, and a 2 million square meter facility with further expansion planned 3 million square meters to build Al Rawabi dairy production facility. The AED650 million dairy farm will house 10,000 Al Rawabi cows and increase their export efforts to the wider GCC region.
