ABU DHABI, 18th May, 2023 (WAM) — Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, visited the Education Interface exhibition on the last day. Exhibits showcase the variety of programs and majors offered by academic institutions and universities that contribute to education and future career development.
His Highness Sheikh Saif was briefed on the most important programs and specializations offered by academic and educational institutions and universities that contribute to the development of education and future careers.
HH Sheikh Saif’s visit included United Arab Emirates University, Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities and Sciences, Zayed University, Labudan College, Khalifa Education Prize Pavilion and Fatima Faculty of Health Sciences Pavilion, where he Pavilions where the academic programs and initiatives offered by these national institutions were heard
During the two-day conference, discussions revolved around the development of mechanisms for predicting future alignment of occupational and academic disciplines with the labor market. Therefore, proposals are made to strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and the labor and production sectors. These recommendations are designed to provide students with the opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
Dr. Moza Saeed Al-Badi, Chairman of the Board of Education Interface, expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Saif for his support and sponsorship of the conference. She highlighted the significance of this national scholarly event in advancing education and its related work.
Dr. Al-Badi emphasized that success in this day and age depends on a comprehensive understanding and mastery of sustainability and artificial intelligence. She further highlighted the positive impact of the Educational Interface exhibition and the Middle East Youth Conference on the teaching process in the region. This initiative of the UAE to become a pioneer in education has played an important role in promoting the above concepts. The exhibit exceeded expectations, attracting more than 15,000 students and visitors of all ages and nationalities.
Additionally, Dr Al-Badi unveiled a groundbreaking community initiative to support the exhibition’s success. The initiative, led by First Abu Dhabi Bank and Bin Hamouda Group, offers 40 scholarships for undergraduate and master’s degrees for UAE students. She expresses her gratitude to the individuals responsible for these esteemed institutions.
The exhibition kicked off its ninth session on Tuesday with the theme of “Nine Years of Educational Service”. It has witnessed the participation of a wide range of local and international educational and academic institutions.
The second day’s event included the participation of Dr. Yasser Al-Wahidi, Dean of the Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy, Dr. Hosnia Al-Ali, Advisor to Educational Programs at the Archives and National Library, and Badriya Al-Hosani, Acting Director of the Academic Department. Moza Al-Ghafli, Administration of the Sharjah Heritage Institute and Manuscript Restoration Assistant at the Sharjah Heritage Institute, and a panel discussion entitled “Sustainability in Artificial Intelligence and Security” organized by the Youth Committee of the Ministry of the Interior.
