ABU DHABI, 12th May, 2023 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Shang, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policy of Singapore. Daman Shanmugaratnam, and discussed the means of strengthening bilateral strategic relations between the UAE and Singapore in various fields.
At a meeting in Abu Dhabi yesterday, Sheikh Abdullah and Shanmugaratnam reviewed opportunities to strengthen the UAE-Singapore partnership in education and scientific research, as well as economic and trade ties.
Sheikh Abdullah expressed his appreciation for the visit by senior officials from Singapore, and emphasized the UAE’s commitment to expanding cooperation and partnership with Singapore for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
After the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah hosted a dinner for Shanmugaratnam and his accompanying delegation. Dr Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education; Noura bint Mohammad Al Kabi, Minister of State, were also present.
