ABU DHABI, 17th June, 2023 (WAM) – The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center (SZGMC) will launch the 11th edition of the Youth Cultural Guide Programme, as part of the Youth Builders, a youth capacity-building program that combines initiatives and activities launched by mosques over the years for the UAE The youth provide a platform for them to be role models that showcase the noble message and values ​​of the UAE.
SZGMC designed this program to invest in and guide young people’s capabilities during the summer. This enables them to gain career opportunities as cultural tour guides and gives them an idea of ​​how these tours are organized within the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
Interested students from SZGMC have until July 3 to pass www.szgmc.gov.
The program will take place in two phases: Phase 1, July 17-27, 2023, for students in grades 9-11, and Phase 2, August 7-17, for students in grades 5-8.
Dr Yousif Al Obaidli, Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center, said the launch of the program is part of SZGMC’s mission to develop a new generation of responsible leaders to spread its message and the founding father’s legacy of tolerance and inclusion. respect others.
He added that the program exemplifies SZGMC’s keenness to initiate and adopt initiatives, projects and programs aimed at raising the Emirati human cadres of all ages, a generation with good morals, open to other cultures in the world and who believe in the values ​​of tolerance, coexistence And brotherhood embodies the center’s message.
The total number of graduates of children’s cultural tutoring classes reached more than 410.
