ABU DHABI, 17th March, 2023 (WAM) – Ten Cityzens Young Leaders from around the world enjoyed a four-day Etihad Airways Young Leaders Experience in Abu Dhabi. Young leaders from Manchester, Melbourne, Mumbai, New York City and Bandung spent a week coaching community football at the City Football Academy and enjoyed the many highlights that Abu Dhabi has to offer as a leading cultural destination.
A highlight of the experience was a visit to Etihad Airways Headquarters to participate in an interactive leadership workshop inspired by the airline’s ‘Growing with Etihad – Leadership Excellence Programme’.
Reflecting on the whole experience, Selva, one of the youth leaders from Mumbai, India, said: “The Etihad Youth Leaders experience has been incredible. I have been inspired by the youth leaders I have met all over the world. Over time, I have developed a lot as a coach.
“This was my first time flying and it was amazing! I want to fly again and hope to have more opportunities like this in the future. Thank you – I thoroughly enjoyed it!”
The trip also brought together representatives from four City Football Group clubs: Manchester City, Melbourne City, New York City and Mumbai City.
