According to him, the relief supplies include about 10,000 tents that will house more than 50,000 affected and displaced families in most of the affected states.

More rescue air bridge flights to Khartoum will be launched to enhance the ability of Sudanese authorities and humanitarian organizations to contain the humanitarian impact.

Al Kaabi said the UAE Relief Air Bridge will be followed by three flights, reflecting the passion of the UAE and its generous people to ensure humanitarian support for the brotherly Sudanese people in any area facing an emergency disaster.

“The relief supplies include about 10,000 tents, 28,000 food parcels, 120 tons of various shelter materials, and emergency relief supplies, which will help improve the lives of more than 140,000 people affected by disasters in the Nile, Khartoum and Khartoum states. Conditions. “Gezira,” he said.

Al Kaabi explained that the ERC delegation visited the affected state to determine the extent of the damage, be it life, property or crops, as the local market provided initial support to expedite the humanitarian response and distribute it through field teams and experience Abundant volunteers benefit.

Al Kaabi further added that in addition to the work of all, the ERC field team will set up tents to shelter the affected people and provide a unique Emirati model in the field during evacuation and housing according to the highest security standards. The team provided psychological support and various relief materials for the affected people.

The UAE was one of the first responders to the humanitarian situation in Sudan when wise leadership ordered AED 25 million in emergency humanitarian aid to help relieve them suffering and improve their living conditions.

The leadership directive to provide such assistance expresses the solidarity of the UAE and its people with the Sudanese people under such dire circumstances.
